I guess I have to resign myself to the thought that blogging is not something I can do with great constancy, at least in times of remodeling. I noticed as I was logging in today that the last time I had posted anything had been in mid-December. A week or so after that we moved into the new place -- known as Mega Mansion -- which is very sweet and spacious. But we decided to remodel (paint, put in new floors, etc.) which, given the size of the place, is no small feat. We are almost done painting (there is one curved wall left in the hall and perhaps a couple walls in the downstairs bedroom), and we have almost decided on the flooring. We'll probably be done by Fall.
In other news, I have started tutoring. I'm volunteering with a pretty impressive community education education, Literacy Source. I enjoy it perhaps to a scary extent, and sometimes find myself entertaining the idea of a Master's in Education (my alma mater's program is one of the very best). Another excitingly daunting prospect I am considering is a double major, in PoliSci and English. Since I'm already a junior, however, it might be a little late. It'll soon be time to start making some money.
And also, yeah, I am very likely getting married this summer.
